About the Training

Support your team with practical, person-centred seizure response training designed for NDIS and disability support environments.

This corporate course builds staff confidence and consistency in recognising seizure activity, providing safe seizure first aid, following an Epilepsy Management Plan (EMP), escalating appropriately, and documenting incidents in line with workplace and NDIS requirements.

Delivery is available for organisations and teams across Perth, with practical training run at the Subiaco Training Centre or onsite by arrangement.

What Your Staff Will Learn

  • Follow an Epilepsy Management Plan (EMP) and workplace procedures

Assessment and Competency

This training includes a short knowledge check and a practical trainer sign-off. Participants must demonstrate required skills to be deemed competent.

Certificates are issued on successful completion of the required components.

Scope of Practice and Important Safety Information

This course provides awareness and seizure first aid training only.

It does not authorise participants to administer emergency seizure medication unless they have completed separate workplace-approved training and have formal authorisation and competency assessment.

Participants must follow:

  • The individual’s Epilepsy Management Plan (EMP)
  • Organisational policies and procedures
  • Relevant NDIS requirements
