Our First Aid in an Education and Care Setting training delivery are outlined below:

Express Course – Face to Face Practical

Students complete pre-course learning and attend a shorter course of up to 3 hours with their trainer. This course is ideal for those with experience, having completed first aid training previously or for those working in the medical/childcare field. Students attending an express course will complete the practical assessments and the completion of the pre-course learning assisted with refreshing their knowledge to prepare for the assessment. All theory assessments are completed prior to attending the assessment.

Pre-Course Learning:

The online pre-course learning consists of presentations, and multiple-choice questions aimed to prepare students for further training and or assessment. The pre-course learning can also be completed by a hard copy workbook, or in-class with the trainer if organized before-hand.95% of students and instructors prefer the online method as it’s convenient and cost efficient.When you enrol into a first aid course with one of our first aid training partners, you will automatically be emailed your login for the online pre-course learning. You can start it straight away.The Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting Statement of Attainment can be issued on the same day and is renewable every 3 years with the CPR unit renewable annually.Our Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting course satisfies 4 units of competency from the Health Training Package (HLT07):
HLTAID009: Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
HLTAID010: Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
HLTAID011: Provide First Aid
HLTAID012: Provide emergency first aid in an education and care setting

These units appear on your Provide First Aid Statement of Attainment
