Course Overview

If you are conducting live electrical work or working near live switchboards, the LVR and First Aid Course offered by First Aid Certified in Perth is a mandatory safety requirement — and one that could save lives.

What You’ll Learn

Participants will gain hands-on training and theoretical knowledge covering:

  • Rescue techniques from a live LV apparatus (excluding overhead lines and underground cables)
  • Safe work practices and risk management procedures in live electrical environments
  • Application of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) on an unconscious casualty
  • Use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in line with current ARC standards
  • Duty of care and legal responsibilities when responding to workplace emergencies
  • Safety communication and procedures for coordinating with emergency response teams

Course Delivery – Online + Face-to-Face in Perth

We’ve designed this course with flexibility in mind.

  • Online Learning: Approx. 3 hours of self-paced online theory
  • Face-to-Face Assessment: 3-hour practical assessment session at our Perth training facility (or available for group bookings at your workplace)

All online learning must be completed prior to attending the in-person practical session.

Certification

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for:

  • UETDRRF004 – Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel
  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
